Who we are
Weekbud is a scheduling tool for independent coaches, tutors and consultants. A host uses Weekbud to publish a booking page; their clients use it to book sessions.
What we collect
- Hosts: email address, name, business name, time zone, booking page settings, and — if you choose to connect them — your Google Calendar authorisation and your mail server details. Mail server passwords and calendar keys are stored encrypted.
- People booking: name, email address, phone number, what the session is about, and the times booked.
- Operational records: a one-way fingerprint of the network address used to book (for abuse protection), records of emails sent, and error reports.
How it is used
Only to run the booking: showing open times, confirming a booking, sending confirmations, changes and reminders, adding the session to the host's Google Calendar, and protecting against automated abuse. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
Your host sees the details you submit. Emails are sent through the host's own mail server. Calendar events are created in the host's Google Calendar, which means Google processes the session details. Hosting and the database are provided by our infrastructure provider.
How long we keep it
Bookings are kept while the host's account is open, so they have a record of their work. The private link used to manage a booking stops working 30 days after the last session in it, and a host can switch it off sooner. Abuse-protection records and error reports are kept for a short period and then removed.
Deleting your data
Hosts can delete their account at any time from Settings; this permanently removes the profile, appointment types, availability, bookings, mail settings and any connected calendar authorisation. If you booked a session and want your details removed, ask your host, who can cancel and delete the booking, or contact us and we will pass the request on.
